A Unique Retreat with Walter Starcke April 15-17, 2008 Retreat to take place at the Weston Playhouse It’s All God: A Time Apart Take a time apart…apart from daily routine and responsibility, time to remember who in Truth, we are, remembering the One Source, the Essence of all Life. Join a select group for an intimate gathering in beautiful Weston, Vermont with modern mystic and renowned author Walter Starcke. A retreat scheduled from April 15 through April 17, 2008 will explore the realm of Consciousness. Walter plans an experiential co-creative time at this, his only retreat currently scheduled outside of his retreat center in San Antonio. The intent is to build on the group consciousness of those assembled. This will be a closed retreat. Participants will not be able to register for single days or partial attendance. Reserve your space promptly, as this event is likely to fill quickly! As an individual, Walter Starcke is a radiant focal point for illumination of Truth, a powerful catalyst to awaken from the illusory dream of duality, of separation from singular Being. He states: “To some I may appear to be a spiritual anarchist out to destroy a number of religion’s most sacrosanct superstitions, those previously thought to be prerequisites to spirituality. To others, what I have to say will be an avenue leading from past limitations into presently unbelievable new freedoms. Precisely because of my many years of trial and error, I have found and have personally demonstrated some of the necessary and very practical solutions that will take us there. It is not my intention to either perpetuate or debunk traditional religions…but rather to explore and help initiate a new, non-sectarian ‘global myth’ that will define the future. …If we are to prosper we have to perceive something that has never been seen before. We must literally close the gap between our divinity and our humanity, between the visible and the invisible, between the subjective and the objective, and between consciousness and form.” What, When, Where The retreat will begin with a brief service late afternoon on April 15 to set intention at the historic Weston Community Church on the Hill, followed by a welcoming reception at the Village Green Gallery. The opening evening session with Walter Starcke will be preceded by a catered dinner in the lobby area of the Weston Playhouse. Retreat sessions will be held in the living room of the Weston Playhouse, with a dramatic view of the nearby waterfall and countryside. There will be time each day for quiet reflection, connection with other participants, walking, visiting the Weston Priory, or exploring local galleries and shops (including the renowned Vermont Country Store). Supper on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, as well as lunch on Wednesday and Thursday are included with registration. Simple, delicious meals featuring Vermont products will be prepared by the award-winning Inn at Weston. Vegetarian options will be offered. Contact us if you have special food preparation needs. Also included in registration will be informal public evening talks by Walter on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. On Wednesday, Walter will discuss his long-time experience as a student of […]
